Personal Care Assistant
Job Description
Looking for an experienced personal assistant for a gentleman in Marske.
Looking for a reliable personal assistant to assist a gentleman with Parkinsons. Main duties to include personal care, assistance with washing and dressing, assistance with movement and repositioning the gentleman in bed. Also, some light domestic duties such as help with changing bedding, laundry and ironing and general help with tidying and tasks around the home.
We are looking for someone friendly, with good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. The ideal candidate would be flexible, patient and able to use initiative.
We are looking for someone who is reliable and adaptable and who can be sensitive to the client's health needs. An experienced carer would be ideal as the client's needs can be changeable due to his health conditions. Experience with administering medication would be an advantage but not essential. Experience with PEG feeding would be beneficial.
Successful candidate would need full driving license and access to their own transport.
