15 hours per week - (Suits flexible candidate)

Hours based on:

Friday - 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday & Wednesday - 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

(Some additional hours may be available to cover running late!)

Rate:

13.00 per hour

Job Purpose:

To assist me, a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy, with day-to-day activities, enabling me to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that aligns with my chosen lifestyle. I am a qualified fitness instructor, so this role is ideal (but not essential) for anyone interested in gym, sports, healthy eating, and diet. My interests include football, F1, console gaming, and I enjoy playing all kinds of games and watching movies. I also love nature, including visiting zoos and nature parks.

Work Duties May Include/Helping with:

Personal care and support with going to the toilet

Supporting with:

Accessing social activities Going to the gym Socialising with friends Going for lunch and getting out and about in the community Mobility, ensuring my safety Bus travel

Other Requirements:

Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns Assisting with management of my health risks Establishing and maintaining effective communication Maintaining confidentiality

Location & Additional Information:

Work will be within my home in Henbury and the local area 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year Friendly and flexible employer Urgent start - interview guaranteed if suitable
