Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and professional Personal Assistant/Carer to provide essential support in various caregiving capacities. The ideal candidate will have experience in Tracheostomy training, PEG Site(Gastrostomy Feeding) these would only be an added benefit for the role. Full training will however be provided to the candidate where necessary. As a Personal Assistant/Carer the role requires an unwavering commitment to the patient's care and wellbeing. The Personal Assistant/Carer will play a vital role in the day to day quality of life for those they assist through attentive and personalised care.

Responsibilities

Provide daily personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Ensuring the client has their dietary needs met.

Prepare, check and administer medicines according to the clients' needs and routine.

Communication at all times with the client when performing duties.

Light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for the client and candidate.

Maintain accurate records of client care activities and report any changes in condition.

Qualifications

Must have Care Certification or actively in the process of achieving their certification.

UK Residency & Right to Work.

Knowledge of Tracheostomy Care, Epilepsy, PEG Site, Gastrostomy, Scoliosis would be beneficial. Full training will be provided where necessary.

Previous experience in working as a Personal Assistant/Carer would only compliment your application.

Nursing background or relevant qualifications in senior or home care will be an advantage

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Ability to manage tasks in a timely manner and record all actions undertaken whilst working.

Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules as and when required.

Pay: 13.85-16.00 per hour
