Job Description
I am a lady living on the outskirts of Peebles with terminal cancer. I am managing most of my personal care tasks myself for now but would like someone who could come and support me a few times a week with having a shower or helping me have a wash and wash my hair. I am ideally looking for someone for 2 hours each morning Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with occasional need on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I am happy to be flexible to find the right person.
In the near future, I will need more support so someone who has the potential to increase their support hours, when needed, would be great.
I would love someone who is kind, caring and friendly. Someone who ideally has experience of dealing with a person with a terminal diagnosis and will be able to support me more towards the end, when I need it the most.
I can offer an hourly rate of 13.60 and can also help with mileage costs to and from my house, due to my location. You will also be entitled to 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Expected hours: 10 per week
