Summary

Mosaic 1898 Direct Payments Support Service are supporting a lady living near the Beaumont Shopping Centre to find a female Personal Care Assistant to work 11 hours per week at 15.90 per hour.

Role

The position is for 11 hours per week comprising of a 1 hour visit 9-10am Monday to Friday to help her with starting her day, and a further 6 hours to be used flexibly in the week. this is to assist with meal planning and shopping, and supporting her out in the community, with days and times for the 6 hours to be agreed between the employer and the PA.

There is no personal care needed as part of this role, but you will be required to prompt personal care activities and the taking of medication.

Qualities Required

A patient and understanding person with some understanding of supporting someone with mental health challenges would be perfect for this role.

Important Information

There are two factors you need to be aware of and comfortable with in relation to this role:

You must be comfortable around cats as there are cats in the home You should be comfortable with the fact that the lady vapes medicinal cannabis in her bedroom but she is happy to not consume it around you
