I am a 37 year old male with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy I live at home with my parents who run a care company for me. The role of Personnel carer is interesting and rewarding, you will assist in all aspects of my care.

Duties consist of but are not limited to:

Interacting with me promoting independence and freedom of choice.

Supporting to enhance their social world in the community and family home life.

Driving your service user to their chosen destination in their own vehicle.

Assisting with personal care tasks promoting dignity at all times.

Sitting with your service user to assist with creative tasks and ensure their well-being.

Supporting with special administration of medication (after full training.

Supporting to meet nutritional needs and fluid intake.

Monitor your service user to ensure their well being.

General house work and housekeeping.

Due to the need to drive family vehicle a full clean driving licence is essential.

The nature of the work requires the applicant to have full physical fitness.

Carers will be required to work 7 days a week on a rota basis.

Currently it would be 3 Weekday late shifts on first week 15:45-21:30.

Second week one weekday late shift and one weekend late shift hours as above and one weekend early shift 7:45-16:00 and then back to week one

Plus overtime to cover sickness and holidays by agreement.

All successful applicant's are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS and pre employment checks.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.48-21.84 per hour
