Are you a compassionate, reliable individual with a background or interest in support work? We're looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to provide flexible support for a creative, independent individual with a hearing impairment living alone. This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in someone's daily life. Start date will be as soon as possible with a pay rate of 12.40 per hour.

Main Responsibilities:Domestic tasks, including: Laundry Cleaning Meal preparation Community access - support with attending activities, appointments, and days out Shopping and running errands Support with personal care - washing and dressing Prompting and assistance with: Medication ordering Medical appointments Correspondence General home maintenance (e.g., changing bedding)


Essential Information:Hours: Flexible, with current needs on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Additional hours may become available. Driving: A full driver's license is essential. A walker is used for day trips and folds for transport. Experience: Prior experience in support or care work is desired. DBS Check: Required - funded by Direct Payments (44). COVID Vaccines: Not required. Sensitivity: Must avoid strong perfumes/fragrances due to scent sensitivity (e.g., lavender can cause migraines).
