Casual Personal Support / Care Worker for client in his own home - Cannock - 13.38 per hour

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support a client living with Muscular Dystrophy in the Cannock area on a casual basis. This unique role involves assisting with complex care needs both at home and in the community, helping the client maintain independence and live life to the fullest. Shared interests in science fiction, computer games, and strong IT skills are essential to building a genuine connection and companionship in this rewarding position.

Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to really make a difference in our clients lives. You'll only be working with one client which enables you to truly get to know them and make a meaningful difference each day.


You must be comfortable with pets as there is a lively dog at the clients home

This will be a casual role to provide cover when required. Shift pattern is 10am-11pm

??All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.

Who we are looking for:



You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we're seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:


Personal care, support to manage incontinence, and measures to maintain a good skin state. Supporting with clinical tasks such as cough assistant, Bipap, Nebuliser, and oral Suctioning (preferred but not essential Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes). Medication Administration Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, cooking nutritious meals). Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping. Proving support around meal times due to the clients dysphagia

You should also have:



Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
