Job Purpose:

I suffer from severe arthritis and I am currently awaiting a hip and knee replacement. This means my mobility is limited and I require the use of crutches. I am therefore seeking to employ a friendly PA/carer to assist me with personal care (showering and dressing), as well as supporting me to maintain a safe and tidy home environment. I also require support to ensure that my medication is managed correctly and potentially take me to Drs appointments. I have 1 small dog and 3 cats, as such someone who is an animal lover is preferred.



Female PA required due to personal care.

Essential:

Friendly, caring and patient Punctual, reliable and trustworthy Pet friendly Full UK driving licence: you will be required to drive my car.

Desirable:

Previous experience working in a care role.

Summary terms and conditions:

The rate of pay for this position is 12.38 per hour Hours and times of work: 16 hours per week (potential to increase to 16), over 4 days. Monday - Thursday mornings 08.30 - 12.00, exact times are flexible and negotiable at interview. Free Atlas/Flick training available. Should this his position require meal preparation, cleaning, heavy lifting or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake mandatory training.

The post is subject to the following:

A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
