This role is to support a young adult pursuing a career in biomechanical rehabilitation as well as to implement his own rehabilitation plan.
You'll be required to assist him in conducting assessments and the application of recovery plans for: injury rehab, respiratory care, post-operative recovery, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions; which may take
place in various environments such as hospitals, care homes, client homes or most often at the employer's dedicated rehab room.
Further to this, you will also contribute to and assist the employer in various research and ongoing education initiatives; presenting the applicant with valuable opportunities to engage in structured learning, participate in
specialist training programmes, and deepen their understanding of advanced rehabilitation techniques through both theoretical and practical study. This aspect of the role is well-suited to individuals with a strong interest in
healthcare education, as it offers direct involvement in the creation of study materials, participation in workshops, and the chance to work alongside leading practitioners in the field. You will also be expected to conduct progress tracking and assist with assessments, ensuring therapy plans remain responsive and effective. Accurate documentation is essential, including the maintenance of detailed
notes and records to support both therapy decision-making and long-term monitoring. In addition, you will help prepare reports, presentations, and educational materials that contribute to training, communication, and
reflective practice. Your involvement will extend to supporting ongoing research and development tasks, allowing you to actively participate in the evolution of therapeutic approaches and contribute meaningfully to
broader learning objectives.
