Support Worker needed for a friendly 14-year-old boy
We're looking for a kind, patient, and understanding support worker to spend time with our 14-year-old son during weekends and school holidays.
He is bright, capable, but as he is autistic, he sometimes finds social situations and day-to-day activities a bit challenging. He would really benefit from someone who can support him to get out more, try new things, and build confidence in everyday life.
About the Role:
Around
16 hours per month
(weekends and school holidays)
Flexible hours to suit both you and him
Supporting with
outings, social activities, and life skills
Encouraging independence and confidence
Based in a friendly family environment
A
current DBS check
(or willingness to get one) is required
Experience working with young people or those with autism would be helpful, but the right attitude and approach matter most
We're looking for someone who is:Friendly, reliable, and patient
Able to build a
positive and trusting relationship
Happy to get involved in activities like walks, games, or trips out
Supportive and encouraging, helping him enjoy life and grow in independence
