About the Employer
Charlotte Walker is a 35-year-old single mother with a dog and cats. She enjoys music and
spending time with loved ones.
She has Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), which can cause paralysis, stroke-like episodes,
seizures, cognitive difficulties, and fluctuating mobility. She also has complex mental health
conditions that interact with her neurological symptoms.
She uses mobility aids such as a bath lift, walking aid, grab sticks, and a perching stool.
Main Duties
Personal Support
Assistance with meal times, including preparing and cooking food
Personal care, such as dressing
Administering medication
Supporting with exercises/physiotherapy
Emotional and practical support during FND episodes
Home Support
Light housework
Laundry care
Changing bedding/linen
General tidying and organisation
Grocery shopping support
Light gardening
Social and Community Support
Assisting with forms and phone calls
Supporting and attending appointments
Helping with hobbies such as dog walking
