I am a 23 year old young lady and I have an opening in my fabulous team of carer's.
I am looking for someone who is fun to be around, will help me cause mischief and help me to be as independent as possible within my limitations . I need help with all aspects of my life including personal care and medication, so I am looking for a female applicant. I have a full life that I need you to help me to keep up with. I enjoy horse riding, swimming, skiing and a wide range of physical activities that you will need lots of energy to keep up with me.
I have a number of difficulties - I need help with and will need some assistance to overcome, but we always try to have fun so I am looking for someone who is fun to be around and able to help me with my physiotherapy, school work and a wide range of activities . I also have a number of medical problems which I need help with. I need to be fed but I also have a PEG, so prior experience of this is a benefit but full training will be given. I have a learning disability and use my voca and BSL to communicate, so some experience of these is desirable, but not essential. You need to be a happy, positive and caring person
I love to get out and socialize and will need you to help facilitate this. I enjoy going out to see friends, go bowling, shopping, etc, so you will need a full, clean driving license.
This role is to cover weekends. I have care 24 hours a day, so the successful applicant must be flexible and have the ability to cover a range of shifts including waking and sleeping nights. I live at home with my family so discretion is needed. There will be holidays and sickness to cover as extra.
