Job Purpose:

I am a mother with three children, in a neurodivergent household, who is seeking a Personal Assistant to support me in my parenting role and everyday living tasks. This will include support with housework, meal preparation, shopping, admin, and taking the kids to clubs and activities.


This is a varied role and requires someone who can provide practical assistance while fostering a positive and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and a good sense of humour, with a willingness to learn.

Household Support:

assist with cooking, cleaning, and general household upkeep.

Errands & Admin:

help with shopping and administrative duties, including filling out paperwork.

Parenting Support:

taking the children to clubs and activities.

Essential:

Friendly, patient, understanding and trustworthy. A good sense of humour and a can-do attitude. A willingness to learn. Competent in reading and writing. Full UK driving licence and own car with appropriate level of business insurance.

Summary terms and conditions:

The rate of pay for this position is 12.38 per hour Hours and days of work: 14 hours per week, over two days. Exact days are negotiable and can be discussed at interview. Will include one 9pm school pick up. Free Careskills training available. Should this position require meal preparation, cleaning, heavy lifting or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake mandatory training.

The post is subject to the following:

A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
