Personal care assistant to provide assistance for 25 yr old young lady to encourage social integration, independence skills and community involvement.


Young person has epilepsy (mostly controlled) and learning difficulties and has challenging behaviours. Autism, pda profile. Hearing difficulties.



Various shifts available

Weekends 6 hrs / evenings 2 shifts available upto 4 hrs / full time day shifts



This young lady needs an experienced pa who can manage challenging behaviour who sees the person and not the behaviour. They need to be quietly support, engaging and encouraging willing to be seen as a stable and consistent part of their life. They need to feel not only supported but cared about and that their pa is being a part of their community not just a worker.



The young lady is just starting to develop her adult life and find her feet and has no set patterns or hobbies or interests apart from a lot of bus travelling so not suited to those who get travel sick.



We have a dog and she likes stroking any cat so no allergies please.
