Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or care home settings and will be responsible for implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to to speak Ukrainian are essential for this role, as you will be required to comunicate with the client and his family.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing Support clients with mobility and physical activities Assist with feeding when necessary Support with regular exercise (walking) and monitor health conditions Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the family Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being Acompany the client to appointments, social events, or errands as required Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks

Experience

Previous experience in a home care or care home setting is preferred Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous Strong communication skills in English and Ukrainian are essential for effective interaction with the client and his family Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communication purposes are beneficial Driving licence is not essencial as the client will need to get acquainted with the transport system;

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.95-17.34 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
