We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support and assistance to an individual GUJARATI Lady who is 87 years old suffering from early alzheimer's disease in a private home where she lives with her son's family.
At this stage it is anticipated that we will require assistance TWICE a day; Mornings around 8.30am and evenings around 8pm. More hours possibly available based on candidates ability to assist the family with other general household chores such as cleaning.
Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medication following prescribed care plans and medical terminology guidelines
Support clients with housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Document care activities accurately in case management systems and update care plans regularly
Qualifications
Previous experience in nursing home, home care, or care home environments preferred
Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, and hospice care best practices
Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Strong organisational skills for managing care plans and case management documentation
Excellent communication skills and ability to speak Gujarati will be beneficial to provide compassionate patient care
A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for clients
This role requires a dedicated individual committed to delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive team environment.
Pay: 488.40-652.22 per week
