We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice environments. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medication in accordance with prescribed care plans and medical terminology
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and behavioural management strategies
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update care plans regularly
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to personal hygiene and living environment
Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and coordinate services for optimal patient care
Follow health and safety protocols including first aid procedures and infection control measures
Requirements
Proven experience in senior care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, or nursing home environments is preferred
Certification in first aid is highly advantageous
Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for patient mobility assistance
Valid driving licence for transportation duties
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage behaviour effectively
Compassionate nature with a strong sense of responsibility and patience
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as required
