In the role of Personal Development Tutor, you'll predominantly be based at The Waterfront centre, but may work across all our Huddersfield and Dewsbury Centres. Your focus will be on delivering excellent personal development tutorials.
Your key responsibilities will be delivering the personal development programme through tutorial lessons. The personal development pledge covers, citizenship, careers guidance, preparation for next steps, skills development, enrichment and health and wellbeing. Your sessions will include supporting students with their work preparation (inc placement) and you will work closely with the work placement officers.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience of designing and delivering outstanding sessions with young people; differentiated to meet the needs of diverse groups (or be able to prove equivalent ability). It's important that you're able to communicate effectively across all areas of the college, build effective working relationships and provide first class customer service and demonstrate our college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
