Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the field of personal injury law? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Lawyer in our Toxic Cabin Air (TCA) Personal Injury department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex multi-track and high-value personal injury claims, all while receiving valuable supervision and guidance from seasoned professionals. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with complex personal injury claims, under the supervision of experienced professionals.
  • Manage all aspects of your caseload, making informed decisions that require the exercise of judgment (with supervision).
  • Apply your theoretical knowledge to conduct cases from beginning to end.
  • Collaborate with your team to help achieve the unit\'s objectives.
  • Maintain effective communication and clear documentation throughout the process.
  • Prioritise and manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
A bit about you
  • Knowledge of personal injury law.
  • Familiarity with CPR, rules on evidence, litigation processes, and funding.
  • Ability to assess and advise on evidence, liability, and quantum.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including drafting.
  • Competence in file management and the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Experience in handling fast-track personal injury claims and the litigation process.
  • Direct client interaction and trial experience.
  • Knowledge of statutory duties relevant to personal injury.
  • Legal qualifications such as a law degree, Common Professional Examination, Graduate Diploma in law, or equivalent experience.
