Personal Support Assistant - SATURDAY'S ONLY

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to work with me for 2.5 hours every Saturday.

About Myself

I'm a 12 year old girl living with my family in the Merthyr area. I am very social and I enjoy having company and going out. I am non-verbal and highly autistic, I use my PECS book to communicate.

Tasks and Duties

I would like a Personal Assistant to take me out on a Saturday so I can be more social and have independence. I love nature and visiting parks, I also enjoy soft play areas but don't like crowds and loud noises. I enjoy adventures especially out in the car.

I may need help changing my pull up pants when out and about.

Type of Person Required

I would like someone reliable who will always be available for my Saturday out.

Awareness/experience of working with ASD individuals is highly desirable.

Someone with a car and driving licence.

Working Hours / Pay of Rate

2.5 Hours every Saturday 52 weeks of year

14.00 per hour and mileage expense of 0.40 per mile.

About The job

Salary Frequency - Calendar Monthly.

Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period.

Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS police check at no cost to yourself.

Training

Full training will be provided by parents.
