You will provide strategic direction and oversight for policy alignment, drafting documents and ensuring adherence with regulations and company standards. You will also provide direction and support to colleagues focused on insider risk, ensuring governance.

Collaboration with stakeholders across HR, recruitment, onboarding, export control, legal, and other licensee groups is key to ensuring timely implementation of government policy changes -- with escalation and progress tracking as needed.

It's your responsibility to ensure all policy development and communications meet corporate and licensee standards. Continuous improvement is driven through action tracking, and incorporation of lessons learned.

Who you are

You'll have the ability to lead and deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, with a focus on Personnel Security, Policy, and Insider Risk. You'll bring excellent collaboration and communication skills to ensure timely delivery of work, clear action management, and alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.

You'll need to be confident working in a regulated environment, with a good understanding of government security requirements and how they apply to policy. Strong computer literacy and the ability to draft, align, and implement policies within a corporate and regulatory framework are essential. You should also be comfortable supporting and guiding team members to achieve project goals.

We're looking for someone with proven leadership capability, experience working with cross-functional teams, and a strong grasp of the security landscape. Prior experience within Personnel Security or Insider Risk--particularly within a regulated or nuclear context--is highly desirable. An understanding of Nuclear Security teams and ways of working would be beneficial, as would experience delivering security programmes.

If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you!

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 5 years.
