Personnel Visa Officer

Job Description

Some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



Focal point for all Visa and Immigration items related to allocated installation(s). Responsible on a daily basis, for the submission of Visa and Work Permits to Immigration authorities worldwide. Track Visa/Work Permit expirations and assist personnel with renewal, mapping future requirements, short term or long term, for allocated installation(s). Ensure that anyone joining allocated installation(s) has the required Visa joining instructions. Prepare letters of invitation and OKTB documentation for allocated installation(s). Prepare Visa appointment instructions and coordinate all travel arrangements to enable applicants to attend Visa appointments. Verify and approve all Visa expenses and submit Payroll reports by the deadlines set. Assist with the maintenance of database, and implementation and integration of technologies, to ensure easy reference and accessibility of Visa, Immigration, and Passport information. Any other duties as required by the Personnel Visa Supervisor.

Suitable applicants should ideally have:



Basic Microsoft Office Skills Experience as a Visa Officer/Specialist Demonstrates a personal commitment to a positive working environment. Research and Problem-Solving Skills Communication and Presentation Skills Excellent time-management skills * Knowledge of UK and International immigration
