Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role involves managing fuel sales, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various retail functions. A strong emphasis on communication and organisational skills is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

Mange the Shift rota. Retail ordering and control stock level of goods Greet customers warmly and assist them with fuel purchases and other inquiries. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the gas station, including forecourt, convenience store, and restrooms. Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs. Assist in merchandising products within the store to maximise sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Provide support in managing inventory and stock levels effectively. Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service experiences.

Skills

Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse customers. Strong leadership qualities with experience in management or supervising roles preferred. Proficient in retail management practices, including sales management and merchandising strategies. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively. Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Organisational skills that contribute to maintaining a well-run gas station operation. Administrative experience is beneficial for managing records and reports accurately. Demonstrated phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone professionally.
