Due to new contracts we are seeking a skilled and reliable Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid cargo using tanker vehicles. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various delivery routes effectively. As a Tanker Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach their destinations on time and in perfect condition.

Responsibilities

Operate tanker vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Load and unload liquid cargo safely, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent spills or accidents. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Experience

A valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) licence with appropriate endorsements for tanker operation is essential. Proven track record of safe driving practices in commercial driving roles. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting is an advantage. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing delivery schedules effectively.
