Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Deliver goods to pharmacies throughout the North East, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in everything you do. Assist with loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules or delays. Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of others. Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout the shift.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (Minimum 3 years). Held a Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record (Minimum 5 years). Monday to Saturday 40 hrs Start Time is Various - Approximately 06:30hrs Full Uniform Supplied. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and staff members. Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards applicable in the UK.
