Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and demonstrate excellent driving skills. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication with both customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with driving is an advantage. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is beneficial. Previous warehouse experience is desirable, particularly in handling logistics and inventory. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
