We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to designated destinations. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and signatures where applicable. Communicate professionally with clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times during deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures. Valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., car licence or specific lorry licence). Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy loads is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently. A clean driving record and the ability to pass relevant background checks. Pay: 17.00-25.00 per hour
