Job tile: Pharmaceutical technician

Duration of contract: 3 years

Annual salary: 33,500.00

Hours per week: 37. 5

Holiday per annum: 28 days

Duties and responsibilities;

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of drugs and medicines. Excellent communication skills and customer services. Receiving, verifying prescriptions and assisting preparation of medications for patients. Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescription. Pricing and filling of prescriptions. Assisting in preparing the drugs and medicines under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Pricing and filling of prescriptions. Checks items prior to dispensing. Maintains records of prescriptions received and drugs issued.
Advise patients or customers on the use of drugs prescribed or medication purchased over the counter. Obtaining pharmacist's approval. Maintaining pharmacy's (and its patients' employees') safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations. Flexibility to work on weekends. Responsible to report to Director.

Qualification and/ or skill level: Minimum skill level equivalent or above RQF Level 6 achieved either through educational degree or experience.

English language requirement: CEFR level B1 or above.
