Pharmacist: Dunluce Pharmacy

Dunluce Pharmacy Ltd wish to recruit a Support Pharmacist

Location: Dunluce Pharmacy Ltd, Dunluce Health Centre, 1 Dunluce Avenue,

Belfast BT9 7HR

Reporting to: Superintendent Pharmacist

Contract : Full time

Contract Duration: Intially 12 months

Hours of Work

9am to 6pm Monday - Friday : Protected Lunch 1-2pm

About Dunluce Pharmacy Ltd

Dunluce Pharmacy is a Community Pharmacy based in a primary care Health Centre environment. You will engage on a daily basis with other Health Care Professionals and your focus will be the delivery of a safe, efficient and high quality pharmaceutical service to the patients and public attending the pharmacy. The pharmacist will be supported by the Superintendent/Manager pharmacist and an excellent support team within a modern working environment.

About you

The successful candidate will be a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland or eligible to become a member prior to starting the position.

Job Outline

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of Dunluce Pharmacy

To maximise NHS dispensing and the provision of professional services

To maximise OTC sales and profitability of the pharmacy business

To ensure all staff and comply with all statutory and professional obligations

To help deliver new services particularly those commissioned by SPPG

Person Specification

Applicants must demonstrate on their application form how they meet the following criteria:

Essential Criteria

Applicants must currently be a qualified Pharmacist registered with, or eligible to be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland

Newly qualified Pharmacists are welcome to apply

Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience as a pharmacist in a Community Pharmacy practice environment.
