We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with medical prescriptions and legal requirements.
Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.
Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions dispensed and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or concerns to relevant medical personnel.
Oversee the storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceutical products following safety protocols.
Educate patients on health management, including lifestyle modifications and medication adherence strategies.
Provide services including Pharmacy First, vaccinations, wight loss clinic and other clinical services under PGD
Skills
Proven experience working within a busy community pahrmacy is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand complex medication interactions.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient needs.
Proficiency in medication administration procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and prescription management.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and suppliers.
