Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join our Client's instore pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug therapies, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with medical orders and legal requirements Provide expert consultation to patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions Monitor patient responses to prescribed therapies and adjust medication plans as necessary in collaboration with medical staff Maintain precise records of medication dispensation and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations Ensure the safe storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals Assist in developing medication protocols and participate in clinical audits to uphold high standards of patient safety Support patient care initiatives by offering guidance on medication adherence and lifestyle modifications related to pharmacotherapy

Experience

Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably within a hospital or clinical setting ICU experience is highly advantageous, demonstrating capability in managing complex medication regimens. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to pharmacology and patient care Demonstrated expertise in medication administration, including intravenous therapies where applicable Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration Relevant professional qualifications recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
