Job Description

ChemistCare Pharmacy is seeking an enthusiastic fully qualified Pharmacist for our independently owned pharmacy located within Clee Medical Centre Cleethorpes.

This is an exciting opportunity as we look to expand and grow the business.

You must


be a GPHC registered Pharmacist.

Running of the day-to-day duties for the pharmacy will form part of your responsibility.

This role can also be a job share with a GP surgery Pharmacist position. Ideally
looking for Independent prescribing Pharmacist. But if you are not then clinical
supervisor/support can be provided to complete IP.

Community Pharmacist Role Description/Responsibilities (may include but are not


limited to)



The delivery of high-quality patient care by ensuring compliance with statutory and professional requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
'Standards for Pharmacy Professionals'

To document, maintain and communicate effective, efficient safe working practices and standard operating procedures as required by the GPhC Provide clinical and professional leadership to all pharmacy staff To monitor, assess and oversee the training and competencies of pharmacy staff in accordance with the Code of Ethics and requirements of the GPhC To ensure the 'Pharmacy Record' is maintained at all times and in accordance with the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Responsible Pharmacist) Regulations To store medicines in appropriate conditions, temperature logs are maintained, and procedures are in place for safe disposal of returned or expired medicines To oversee and manage Controlled Drugs including the principles outlined in the DH publication 'The Safer Management of Controlled Drugs' and to maintain
accurate record-keeping and registration.

Clinical Pharmacist Role Description/Responsibilities (may include but are not


limited to)



Provide structured medication reviews Acute medicines request reviews Processing hospital discharge/clinic letters Provide support and advice for patients with self limiting conditions Support Practices to achieve QOF targets as required Contribute to the improvement of health outcomes in long term conditions as part of the multidisciplinary Primary Care Team Other general tasks as required

10 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekends Overtime Weekend availability

Experience:



1 year preferred Newly Qualified Pharmacist Most Welcome (Support will be provided)
