Pharmacist - Clinical & Private Services

Wheatley Pharmacy, Oxfordshire

55,000 base salary + bonuses (up to 70,000 OTE)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, forward-thinking Pharmacist to join Wheatley Pharmacy as a key member of our team, leading the delivery of both NHS and private clinical services. This is an exciting opportunity to move beyond a traditional dispensary role and take ownership of service development, patient engagement, and community health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a wide range of private services including weight management, ear wax removal, travel vaccinations, and health screening. Provide high-quality clinical care within NHS services, including: Pharmacy First consultations, Blood pressure checks, Contraception service, Flu and COVID vaccination. Actively contribute to the growth of private services and deliver revenue-linked KPIs. Champion patient engagement by promoting Google reviews, enhancing the pharmacy's profile and reputation. Support the Lead Pharmacist with other professional duties and responsibilities as required. Supervise, mentor, and support the wider pharmacy team to deliver excellent care and service. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 18:30 40 hours per week (paid) 30-minute paid lunch break included

Package & Benefits

Base Salary: 55,000 per annum. Earning Potential: Up to 70,000 OTE with performance-linked bonuses. Holiday: 28 days (5.6 weeks) paid annual leave including Bank Holidays. Pension: 3% employer contribution. GPhC Registration Fees Paid. Professional Indemnity Insurance Paid. Private Health Insurance (after 6 months' continuous service). 6-monthly discretionary bonus linked to performance. Staff discount on pharmacy products and private services.
