Key Responsibilities:
Essential & Advanced Services:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring full compliance with GPhC standards.
Deliver all
Essential NHS Pharmacy Services
, including dispensing, clinical checks, and signposting.
Provide
Advanced Services
such as:
New Medicine Service (NMS)
Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS)
Hypertension Case-Finding
Smoking Cessation
Flu Vaccinations
(seasonal)
Private & Clinical Services:
Actively promote and deliver
Private PGD Services
, such as:
Antibiotic prescribing (e.g. for UTIs)
Emergency contraception
Travel health and malaria prophylaxis
Erectile dysfunction
Lead and grow the
Travel Health Clinic
, including patient consultations, vaccinations, and medication supply.
Provide
(e.g. Wegovy/Saxenda under PGD or private consultation).
Offer
Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, and Blood Glucose
checks as part of our growing health screening portfolio.
Business Growth & Patient Engagement:
Build strong patient relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Proactively engage with patients to increase uptake of services.
Support marketing and outreach campaigns for private services, especially travel health and vaccinations.
Work with the wider team to meet KPIs for service delivery and patient outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
GPhC-registered Pharmacist (mandatory)
Experienced or newly qualified pharmacists welcome, with the right clinical attitude
Confident delivering both NHS and private clinical services
Trained in vaccination and PGD delivery (training can be provided if required)
Excellent communication and consultation skills
Commercial awareness and passion for service development
