Job Opportunity: Pharmacist Independent Prescriber

Battlefield Pharmacy & Travel Clinic is seeking a motivated Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our team.

We're looking for individuals committed to providing exceptional customer service, showing proficiency, experience, and a willingness to work in all areas of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

Undertaking clinical checks on dispensed medications. Responding to patient queries on the phone or in person. Stock management and some administrative tasks. Work as a team with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer care. Deliver the wide range of Private and NHS prescribing services offered within the pharmacy (training can be provided). Ensure professional standards are maintained to a high level, ensure compliance with company wide SOPs, GPhC compliance and clinical governance. The successful candidate will be supported by a network of experienced prescribing pharmacists.

Requirements:

Experienced fully registered pharmacist with the GPhC. Qualified independent prescriber with the ability to deliver a wide range of services to the community with complex healthcare needs. Preferably 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy. Genuine passion for pharmacy. Strong communication skills. Right to work in the UK Member of the Scottish Government PVG Disclosure Scheme
