We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Garth. HMP Garth is a category B Prison located in Ulnes Walton, Lancashire. Housing around 800 male patients aged 21+. Within this role you will be working with an established Pharmacy team delivering clinical screening, structure medication reviews, and be involved in audits and pharmacy project work. You will work closely with the wider multi disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a successful pharmacy service for all patients.



This is a non dispensing pharmacy, ideal applicant would have an independent prescriber qualification.

Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Salary





This is a full time role with a salary between 49,848 and 55,941 per annum depending on experience

Interview will be conducted on 19th September

What you'll be doing





As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:


Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience


Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training Relevant post qualification

Although not essential, this would ideally suit an applicant with at least 1 years experience in a hospital setting.
