We are seeking a dedicated and committed Pharmacist to join our friendly and experienced healthcare team at our Malton Pharmacy, in the heart of this thriving market town. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, counselling patients on medication usage, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Part time or full time hours are available.
You must be registered with the GPhC and have proven experience working in community pharmacy with strong knowledge of Pharmacy First and other new services which have been recently introduced.
Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert advice on medication administration, potential side effects, and interactions to both patients and healthcare providers.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their medication needs, including reviewing medical histories and current therapies.
Deliver a whole range of services to our patients
Educate patients on proper medication usage, including dosage, timing, and storage instructions.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory management to ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
