Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with doctor's instructions and legal requirements Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication counselling and education on proper usage and potential side effects Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapies and ensure safe administration Maintain precise records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent shortages Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacology, including new medications and treatment protocols Assist in training junior staff or interns as required Provide advanced and enhanced services

Experience

Proven experience working as a Pharmacist within a busy community setting Accredited to provide full range of advanced and enhanced services Must be prepared to undertake further training for accreditation where required Demonstrated expertise in medication administration processes and patient safety protocols Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance to patients and healthcare teams Prior experience in patient care roles will be considered an advantage
