Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Portslade - Mile Oak in Brighton.


This is a fixed term contract starting from March 2026 to March 2027.


This community pharmacy is commutable from London and is located near the Health Centre. It has a very good relationship with the local GP surgery.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It provides a wide range of services including BP/ ABPM / NMS / Flu / Contraception / Covid / and Well private services. It provides services to 10 substance misuse patients and 2 care homes. It dispenses 73 community blisters.

9:00am

until

6:00pm

, Monday - Friday

. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of x1 Technician, x1 Trainee Technician, x2 Trainee Pharmacy Assistants who are both progressing well.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
