Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in the busy market town of Guisborough.


This community pharmacy is commutable from other North Yorkshire towns and villages and is located on a high street. It has a good relationship with the local GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses an average of 3700 items per week, It provides a wide range of services including flu vaccinations, weight management, blood pressure, ABPM, contraception and NMS. It provides services to 15 substance misuse patients and 5 care homes with 57 beds. It dispenses 114 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 9am-5pm Monday - Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday.


The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 8 members of staff including 1 ACT.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
