Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Hutton.


This community pharmacy has great public transport links with car parking also available. It is located on a high street with a small friendly community feel. It has a strong relationship with the GP surgery.


This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave. The ideal candidate would be able to start on the 1st December for a minimum of 9 months.


Working Pattern is: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 1100 items a week. It provides a wide range of services including NMS, BP, contraception, all pharmacy first services, flu and covid vaccinations It provides services to care homes. It dispenses 20 community blisters

, Monday - Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday

. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of

one pharmacy technician, one trainee and one NVQ2 dispenser.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
