This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated experienced Pharmacist to join Winklebury Pharmacy . Winklebury Pharmacy is a long established, well recognised and much loved community pharmacy in the heart of a thriving community in Winklebury.

We offer a number of NHS and Private services and have an excellent relationship with partnering healthcare professionals in the local area. Being a Healthy Living Pharmacy we also engage regularly with multidisciplinary campaigns and have strong links with local commissioners and voluntary organisations

We are currently looking for a driven Pharmacist who is willing to help further grow the business and promote and support the role of our pharmacy locally. The role would be best suited to an individual who is clinically astute, has excellent communication skills and also understands the business needs of community pharmacy in the current NHS climate.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years' experience post qualification in order to take on a pre-registration trainee. The appointed person will be accredited/willing to undergo accreditation to offer the Seasonal Flu Vaccination Service, NMS, NUMSAS and travel health. Further training will be required for other services and there is an expectation for these to be completed.

Key responsibilities include:

Working in partnership with the healthcare team using your own intuition, expertise and experience to deliver complete care solutions for our customers and patients Setting the standard of what a brilliant pharmacy 'looks and feels like' from an operational perspective by working in partnership with your pharmacy technician Delivering the pharmacy strategy through care conversations with customers and patients providing expert advice throughout Accountable for professional pharmacy legal & ethical decisions in the pharmacy Actively supporting the development, education & training of colleagues; building pharmacy capability of store teams Conducting regular reviews, audits and risk assessments to protect patient and public safety Work to deliver world class professional services - personally and through the pharmacy team

Be registered with relevant pharmacy Regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI) MUR/NMS/FLU accredited Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, customers/patients and external local professionals Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services Be commercially astute, understand the growth and development of the healthcare industry Role model first class communication skills, where you will hold excellent face to face interactions with all types of customers and patients Thrive in a team centred approach with strong collaborative working Have a passion for keeping up to date with your own learning and development, completing all Pharmacist mandatory and directed training Be digitally savvy and comfortable with navigating and embracing new technology

Pay: 55,000.00-65,000.00 per year
