Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Melbourne, Derbyshire.


This community pharmacy is commutable from Derby, Nottingham & Leicester and is located on a high street in a town centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 7-8k items a month It provides a wide range of services including all NHS essential and pharmacy first It dispenses 60 community blistres

This pharmacy is open 9-6 Mon - Friday & 9-12 on a Saturday. The succesful candidate will work alternate saturdays either as overtime or with a full day off during the week.


This is a management role and you would be responsible for leading a team of 3.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
