Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Thrybergh in Rotherham.


This community pharmacy is commutable from neighboring towns, cities and villages and is located new to a GP surgery in which it has a good reputation with.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 1600 items a week, It provides a wide range of services including NMS, flu and covid vaccines, blood pressure, weight management and ABPM. It provides services to 8 substance misuse patients 2 of which are supervised and 4 assisted living homes with a total of 11 patients. It dispenses 35 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 9amuntil 6pm, Monday - Friday.


The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 2 qualified pharmacy assistants and 1 trainee pharmacy assistants.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
