About the Role:


We're seeking a passionate and driven Pharmacist Manager to lead one of our well-established pharmacies in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the local community while enjoying a supportive and rewarding work environment. The pharmacy dispenses approximately 9,000 prescriptions per month, with significant potential for growth through the development of enhanced and innovative services.

Responsibilities:


Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Lead, motivate, and mentor a dedicated team of experienced support staff. Develop and implement new and innovative pharmacy services to meet the evolving needs of our patients. This includes expanding our current offerings like seasonal flu vaccinations, travel/occupational vaccinations, New Medicine Service, health checks, and home delivery services. Build strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and the local community.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards (GPhC).
Achieve and exceed performance targets, including prescription volume and service uptake. Contribute to the overall success of the Pharmacy Direct group.

Qualifications:


Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. A passion for providing exceptional patient care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous managerial experience is preferred, but not essential. We are willing to support and mentor recently qualified pharmacists with the drive and potential to succeed.
