Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Trethomas.


This community pharmacy is in close proximity to Cardiff and located next door to a surgery which it has a strong relationship with.


We are looking for an experienced pharmacist manager who is service driven and wants to make an impact on this branch. You will work alongside a strong and experienced team which run the branch to a high standard.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 3500 items week, It provides a wide range of services including CAS and all welsh services. It provides services to 1 supervised and 1 unsupervised substance misuse patients. It dispenses 1 weekly community blister and 5 monthly community blisters.

9am

until

6pm

, MONDAY - FRIDAY

. The dynamic and experienced team at this pharmacy is comprised of

2 qualified dispensers, 1 ACT and 1 trainee.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
