Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Walsall.


This community pharmacy is located in a health centre. It has a good relationship with the GP surgery. It has a diverse patient base in a peaceful part of town.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 1700 items a week, It provides a wide range of services including all NHS services- pharmacy first, BP/ABPM, NMS, Flu and Covid vaccinations, contraceptive services and weight management. It provides services to substance misuse patients. It dispenses 54 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open

8am

until

6:30pm

, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

and

8am-7pm Thursday

. The dynamic, qualified, team at this pharmacy is comprised of 3 dispensers.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
