A small, friendly, local pharmacy requires a

part time

Pharmacist in the lovely town of North Tawton. North Tawton is easily commutable from Okehampton, Crediton and Exeter.

North Tawton Pharmacy is seeking a part time Pharmacist to continue to be an integral part of community life in this welcoming rural mid Devon town.

per annum basic wage plus services related bonus scheme which should generate at least 5,000 per annum in extra income. (WTE for 40 hours per week 53,747 per annum)

Very generous clinical service bonus scheme -Bonus payments paid each time an additional pharmacy NHS or private service are provided, including NMS, Pharmacy 1st, Flu Vaccine, COVID vaccine, BP checks, private weight loss & travel vaccines, private ear health checks etc...

18 hours per week (average)

Hours to be worked:

Thursday 9am - 5.30pm*

Friday 9am - 5.30pm*

Alternate Saturday 9am - 1pm

1/2 hour unpaid lunch break whilst the pharmacy is closed from 1.15pm - 1.45pm
5 weeks holiday per annum plus bank holidays pro rata

Closed Sundays

Income protection policy, premiums paid by the company

Independent Pharmacy with regular help available from Superintendent Pharmacist

Well supported by Dispensary Manager; Dispensary and Counter Assistants; Delivery Driver

Dispensary Manager in process of completing Accuracy Checking Dispensary Assistant's course

The pharmacy offers all these NHS services, and the successful candidate will be expected to continue to provide:

o New Medicine Service

o Flu Vaccination

o COVID-19 Vaccination

o Hypertension Case Finding Service

o Pharmacy First

o Discharge Medicine Service

o Contraceptive Service

The pharmacy offers the following private services, and the successful candidate will be expected to continue all these services after suitable training:

o Travel Vaccine and medication service

o Other vaccines (chicken pox, shingles etc.)

o Ear Micro-suction (mainly provided by non-Pharmacist) and private ear infection treatment service

o Weight management clinic (Wegovy & Monjaro)

o Flu Vaccinations

Newly qualified or inexperienced pharmacists considered.

Pay: 24,186.00 per year
