Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with legal and organisational guidelines Provide comprehensive medication counselling to patients, including usage instructions and potential side effects Monitor patient responses to medication therapies and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory management Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and pharmaceutical standards Collaborate with medical teams to optimise patient care through medication management Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacology, including new medications and treatment protocols

Experience

Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably within a hospital or clinical setting ICU experience is highly desirable, demonstrating capability in managing complex medication regimens Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology principles Demonstrated expertise in medication administration and patient care procedures Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently Effective communication skills for liaising with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
